What type and weight of motor oil do I use?

What type and weight of motor oil do I use in a 92 Honda Accord, 4 cylinder? I bought this car with no owners manual. What type and weight of motor oil do I use?
10w40 should be ideal. The thicker the oil,the better the oil pressure.Don't go to thick though. For a higher mileage car,do a maxium weight of 20w50What type and weight of motor oil do I use?
My wife's Honda was happy with Castrol 5w30 in summer, and 10w30 in winter.

Avoid synthetics as they are not worth the money.
10w30 in summer, 5w30 in winter....or run 10w30 year round, if you live in the southern half of the us.......
