SAE 30. You can use 10w-30, but you will need to top it up more often. SAE 30 is what manufacturers recommend.What weight oil should i put in a push mower?
Straight 30 w non-detergentWhat weight oil should i put in a push mower?
not knowing what you mean by PM, manuel, ele or gas...I'd use 10w-30 whether it be for squirting, motor or mix mowers.

mix gas is diff/ its 50-1 usually
you can use sae 30
whatever is written on the oil fill cap. Anything else might ruin the engine.
10w-40
10W-40
Use a high quality detergent oil classified for service SC,SD,SE or MS.

Detergent oils keep the engine cleaner and retard the formation of gum and varnish deposits.

Nothing should be added to the oil.

Recommended SAE viscosity grades with respect to temperatures;

0F to +60F = 10W30-10W40

+40F to +100F = 30W-10W30-10W40

-20F to +20F = 5W20 to 5W30

if its a briggs and stratton engine, they actually sell their own brand at sears and prolly some other places. its a bit more, but you know its got to be the correct weight
If your located in Australia thenstandard SAE 30 oil is more than sufficient.In an Overhead Valve (OHV) engine the general rule, again for Australia is SAE 10w30. In other countries refer to the OEM Engine Manual supplied with all new machines. Most Engine Manufacturers have a genuine oil available.
