hey i watched a documentary a little bit back and it really bothered me that the states have Texas oil workers in Iraq so why is it that we are said to be ungrateful when are oil is being stolen by our so called ';protectors'; when meanwhile the elderly and children of Iraq suffer so does any one want to tell me? Who can agree with the fact that the U.S.A is stealing oil from Iraq?
if we are occupying there country for oil...why is gas almost $4 a gallon?Who can agree with the fact that the U.S.A is stealing oil from Iraq?
that makes no sense... then why is gas $4 a gallon?
if we drill over there and use our own rigs, its not stealing. and i just cant see us taking oil from there rigs and workers.
but who knows, maybe im blind
Like I've said in many other places, PLEASE do not trust documentaries on facts. They are all one-sided and manipulative. No matter who they come from, have yet to see one that is neutral and presents all the facts.
they also have a 79 billion dollar budget surplus
';three guesses why';
Is the documentary from the US, if its not then it prob makes sense, all I know is you can't believe everything the US media says, most of words are BS to favor the US but meh what country doesn't promote censorship or propaganda these days?
Not me. They are porfitting 79 billion a yr while be spend 12 billion a month or week to rebuild them . We are not stealilng maybe GWB %26amp; DC
They haven't been pumping the oil , because the pumps are blown up.
as fast as one is set up it is blown up again.
history repeat itself:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canicatt%C3%AC_slaughter
not just stealing... since 1940s
killing, looting, raping is what they do
FIRST......All Iraqi oil is controlled by the UN and the Iraqi government.....NOT America
SECOND.... The Iraqi oil industry was in such disrepair and so antiquated.....It had to be TOTALLY rebuilt.... even the circuit breakers are no longer manufactured....American rebuilt the ENTIRE oil infrastructure and the Iraqis are selling more oil than ever in their history
THIRD America only gets 12 % of our oil from Iraq.....and we buy it at current market prices.....NO sweetheart deals.....Many Congressmen are complaining about that. America gets more oil from Canada than the ENTIRE Middle East
NO OIL is being ';stolen'; by anyone.....much less Texas oil workers....
Oil is a major source of the Iraqi governments money......they watch every pennie
Evidently you got some bad information.....
BTW....America is NOT ';protecting'; Iraq...... the whole concept of this war is to help the Iraqi people protect themselves..... The vast majority of Iraq is controlled and secured by Iraqi forces....The Iraqi Air Force has three operational squadrons including 9 Recon AC and 3 C-130 transports.....the Iraqis have their own Commando Battalion ( like the American Green Berets).....The Iraqis have their own Navy including 5 Patrol craft; 34 smaller boats and a Naval Security Battalion
EDIT.... Ever notice the people who post the most silly and idotic remarks..... remarks not supported by facts or even logic.....( like Duke, Otto and Gabrio) .....they never allow email , never have any friends or contacts and often have 0% correct answers.... hmmmmmm
GABRIO.... You take a crime committed by ONE man..... a crime not disclosed or reported to proper authorities at the time but held secret for years..... then attempt to impugne the honor of an entire nation.... you are beyond pathetic
We're not stealing oil, if we were NATO and the UN will be on to us. And yes, why are gas price still high then? They probably give some to us for helping them get rid of their genocidal dictator.
Beside, have elderly and children of Iraq been suffering even before the Iraq War??
I don't agree and I should know, the documentary is a lie. But I can understand why people would think so. Most of Iraqi oil goes to Europe.
That was in fact the original neocon plan.
However, the former Shell oil executive that president Bush put in charge of the Iraqi oil industry following the invasion, did not think this was a good plan.
Three guesses why.

Since then I'm sure there's been much wrangling and soul searching, over this ';vital issue.'; And over the oil of course.
Your question doesn't make much sense. Go watch another documentary.
If they are stealing oil the American people hasn't seen a drop of it. Our Gas prices are 3- 4 times higher than ever.
duh! why else do you think they are their?
to rob, steel, plunder oil, gas, gold, so bush %26amp; co can swim in Arab money and wealth,
the reason oil is expensive the price consumers pay at the pump is nearly all TAX put by the government.
Not because their a shortage as many people think
i totally can agree with you America doesn't steal oil in Iraq it's just use it as if it was their ownership under the shield of great prove they conjured up like we are setting a new regime so they can even afford to say get out of our way to the rest of the world but i'm sure it will change like everything in the immense universe and finally America will suck off.
you believe lies of course. if iraq was about oil, gas would be 50 cents a gallon
idiot
Yup we steal all of our oil.
Thats why it is 4 dollars a gallon. It makes sense now.!
Idiot.
85% of Iraqi oil production is under contract to Compagnie Petrol De Francais, a French firm, and has been so since the mid-1990s. Those Texas oil workers are there as U.S. contractors to help rebuild the Iraqi oil industry and upgrade it. Two U.S. firms are negotiating with the governments in the Kurdish north of the country for access to their oil.
We have not imported any oil from Iraq since the UN Peace Enforcement Mission in 1991. Most of our oil imports come from Canada, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
So, in summary, I don't agree with your assertion.
Oil and military companies which close to Bush and Co organised this invasion to steal Iraq's oil and spend American budget for weaponry.
They want to get more money therefore they can not drop prices for USA citizens.
As Lenin said: ';Imperialists can do any crime to increase profit';.
And dont forget about this: such kind of local war conflicts usually makes world's oil prices higher.
