I agree, use the dealer recommended weight and grade of oil in your bike, though the brand is up to you. As long as your brand of choice meets the grade %26amp; weight specifications, it's OK to use. I would change the filter with each oil change as well, though sometimes they say every other. Do the oil change ';hot'; so more of the crud comes out when you drain the oil and it flows out better.

Look in the manual that came with your car. It should tell you what weight of oil to use.
