What is your opinion about the fact that the price of Crude Oil has dropped significantly, but Gas has not?

Seems to be a high degree of correlation between crude and gas at the pump..when crude prices rise, but not when crude prices fall. Is it greed? What is your opinion about the fact that the price of Crude Oil has dropped significantly, but Gas has not?
Of course it's greed. Anyway for the oil companies to make money. They know that we all need to buy gas and even if we had no cars, and we took public transportation, we would still have to rely on gasoilne to fill the buses or taxis that we take. What is your opinion about the fact that the price of Crude Oil has dropped significantly, but Gas has not?
Yes, the greedy bastards are ripping us off! The politicians we have elected have nothing to gain by fixing this problem so nothing is likely to be done about it. Not that I have any idea what could be done about it.
Can't say that I agree with your observation. Please check your numbers!

Back in July, crude was over $70 a barrel and gas was around $3 per gallon. Today crude is around $60 and gas in my area is now right at $2. If anything, I'd say that the drop in gas prices (33%) has far exceeded the drop in crude prices (14%).
I've stopped worrying about it ... i know there is NOTHING i can do about it.

I remember about 3 years ago i started yelling at a gas station clerk on account of prices -- i can tell, now, that was a stupid foolish thing to do.

The big oil companies make their dough -- and that's IT.

I just pay what i have to pay -- the end.
