Why are people so blind to the fact the Bush clearly went into Iraq for the oil?

Iraq has the second largest oil reserves in the world.

They had absolutely nothing to do with terrorists attacks but Bush decides to invade it because he believes there may be ';weapons of mass destruction';. There are no WPD's yet there are still troupes there.

China admitted to having weapons of mass destruction but America never invaded THEM.Why are people so blind to the fact the Bush clearly went into Iraq for the oil?
You are asking the same people who allowed Bush to be selected why they don't believe a lie. I don't know but I would say that people today are to spoiled and ignorant to see the truth. I guess when the depression hits them on the side of their head maybe they will wake up. But I'm not holding my breath, I'll bet money they will blame it on Obama. How on earth could a handful of people make millions of people believe them. Bush was hankering to get into Iraq before 9/11 and there are records to prove it

As far as invading China,it is much more likely they will invade us. Think of all those poor WalMart workers that will lose their jobs.I just can't believe this country. Why are people so blind to the fact the Bush clearly went into Iraq for the oil?
Most of US oil doesn't come from the Middle East.

And if we wanted Iraq's oil that bad, it would have been a lot easier and cheaper to buy it like other countries were doing. That fact alone should prove the US didn't go there for the oil.

Now, as to why the troops are still in Iraq: we took out the Government of Iraq. It would be very irresponsible to take out the government and just leave. The place would be worse than you can imagine. A new functioning government had to be in place.

WMD wasn't the only, or even the chief, reason for invading Iraq, although it's the one the UN seemed somewhat interested in. Iraq was a classic terrorist state, terrorizing not only its own people, but repeatedly waging wars of aggression against its neighbors while supporting (financially and otherwise) terrorists in other countries. 9/11 woke the US up to the threat of terrorist attacks, and it seemed a good idea to be proactive. I'm still not convinced it was a bad idea, even if it did turn out harder than first thought.
Yes, I will admit it was for the oil and money. That was what this whole sad thing was all about oil. So many innocent American lives lost over material procession. That is one of the main reason why the Current President Bush has such a low approval rating.

I can't wait until January 20, 2009, when President - Elect Obama becomes President Obama.
The people are not blind, but George is building a library to himself. And no where in the library will anyone see the words, ';War';, ';Spying on the American people';, ';Largest deficit in History'; , ';Loss of prestige throughout the World'; or ';Recession';.
Well seeing as some of u are blinded from the liberal media, let me show u to real pictures of what Mr.Bush (a great president has done) (btw I dont care if u guys give me 500 thumbs down:

(part 2 is there too)
Most people are very blind to facts in general. They are donkeys who can easily be fed with propaganda. Otherwise the world would not be what it is.
We know that, we aren't stupid

9/11 was what bush planned to ';start'; the war
worn out.
