Does anyone think that the high price of oil is, at least partially, due to the fact that G. Bush sells oil?

I think it has more to do with the fact the oil companies can charge as much as people will continue to pay. That's about it. If you are suggesting that GW Bush is a mastermind behind the entire oil producing industry, wow, thats quite a lofty suggestion but I'll take it with a grain of salt.Does anyone think that the high price of oil is, at least partially, due to the fact that G. Bush sells oil?
G Bush doesn't sell oil. G Bush runs the USA so your fact is erronious.Does anyone think that the high price of oil is, at least partially, due to the fact that G. Bush sells oil?
High oil prices are due to (in order):

1) High consumption worldwide.

2) Increased demand in China and India.

3) Expected increased demand in the Third World.

4) Slower than expected exploitation of Siberia.

5) Middle East concern over an increasingly hostile Iran.

6) Middle East concern over Iraq.

7) Oil producing nations concerned about non-oil sources of energy that would gut their economies.

Note that President Bush was not listed. Blaming President Bush for oil prices is akin to blaming John Edwards for housing foreclosures. They both own blind trusts in the respective industries. Although there is a difference: John Edwards is a direct consultant.

I do think it has something to do with the fact that Bush hasn't put Big Oils feet to the fire when it comes to regulations.

Surely the stink of record profits for Big Oil while we are forced to dig deeper and deeper into our pockets to fill 'er up should be examined and possibly controlled. Don't get on my case either about free trade or socialist control, its seems to me Nixon, Republican instituted a freeze on prices when he was in office.
do you know that china has increased oil consumption more than double since 2000 that mean more demand and less supply and if you remember what happens when there is more demand and less supply from your economics class in high school you realize the price goes up if we were to open up nwar it would alleviate some of the pressure in this country and also drill off the Florida coast would help too shoot china is already drilling off the coast of Florida in Cuban waters
I have to think that GW Bush has his hand in the oil industry some how. No one knows what went on in those secret meetings with Cheney and the big oil exec's back in the spring of his first year in office, All we know is that prices have tripled in the 6 years since. Did I miss something some where? Some kind of explanation other than the supply and demand myth that has since been debunked?
Americans elected two Texas oilmen to the White house...so no one should be surprised.
No.

Oil is priced high because of the fiscal ineptness of the current administration which has resulted in the devaluation of the dollars on the international currency exchange. Devaluation of the dollar, or inflation as it called when a Democrat is president, is never a good thing. It doesn't create jobs. We don't sell more goods overseas. We just go broke paying for imports.

The only reason devaluation (inflation) hasn't effected most consumer items is the fact that we import most consumer items from China. China has tied the value of their currency with the USD. Chinese currency devalues at the same rate as the USD. They have done so in order to keep US jobs in China. If their currency increased in value, labor would be cheaper in the USA and all the jobs outsourced to China would come home.

Oil is the least of tomfoolery you should be overlooking.
Of course! He's the mastermind behind everything bad that happened, is happening, and will happen.
Hellloooooo, ever heard of OPEC? President Bush has nothing to do with oil.
No, the price of oil is high because of very high demand, and the falling price of the dollar. You can blame Bush for not asking Americans to cut down on the consumption of energy after the 9/11 attacks as part of a national sacrifice. All he asked us to do after the 9/11 attacks was to keep on shopping, and Americans responded heroically. Well, I guess it wasn't heroic to go shopping, but you know what I mean!
No, because he doesn't.

Perhaps you're unaware that presidents and other senior officials put their assets into blind trusts.

P.S. Non Bush fan here...just keepin' it real.
I believe that only the numbnutz would feel that way
Your question sheds light not only on your own stupidity but also on alot of answerers stupidity as well.

Uh duh did the price of bottled water go up because Bush sells water?

Duh um has college tuition gone up astronomically because Bush sells degrees?

There sure are a lot of r tards and it pi sses me off that they cancel my informed vote.
Sure, yeah. Bush owns OPEC. If he really made that damn much money he wouldnt be wasting his time in a 300K a year job. It's why nobody really worth a tinker's damn wants to be President!
Most definitely.
And the tooth fairy carries cash.
YES! And that's also the reason the Texas Rangers win the world series every year!!!!!!
Of course it does,Why did gasoline prices tripled in just 5 years instead of 20. Now it's starting to ruin everything in the American economy.Housing costs are starting to collapse on a stack of cards with interests rates being so high as it is.we're all now paying the price for Jorge Bushes poor policies.
Of course it is.. Bush and all his other oil buddies.
definatly thers astrong history of him and oil companys even some tht went under and some the bein ladens saved
