Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) was a guest today (June 11, 2008) on Your World w/Neil Cavuto. Blumenauer was on to discuss, per the chyron, ';Dems Block GOP Amendment to Drill Offshore for Oil.'; Blumenauer followed John Peterson (R-PA) who appeared to discuss (also per the chyron), ';Dems Block GOP Effort to Drill for Oil off U.S. Coast.'; Far be it for one of Cavuto's guests to try to talk about facts, especially if they make Republicans look bad. I doubt Blumenauer will be back because Cavuto seems to have taught him that Fox isn't the place for such honesty.You have to see this. Why does FOX NEWS ignore the facts about oil?
Blumenauer was simply stating the facts, while Cavuto (a media branch of the propaganda spread by the White House) couldn't handle the truth. Faux News is utterly deplorable and represents a sad position of open and true democracy.You have to see this. Why does FOX NEWS ignore the facts about oil?
Fox ignores the facts about oil because they are inconvenient for them. Since they can't be shouted down, intimidated, or bullied, facts are simply ignored on Fox.





The truth would simply get in the way of any Fox story. When you are trying to spread worthless propaganda, the last thing you want is the truth to be heard.

To address your statements, additional oil drilling has been banned since at least 1972, when we had the ';two block long'; gas lines.





Not to worry, though. We may have $6-7 gas by the end of the year, but next year, Superbomba will tell the Mid East to pump more oil for the US only. Or Else!

neil cuvuto had on one of obama's staff member this week and ask him how will obama pay for the programs he proposed,by raising taxes,but will he have mccain staffer on asking how will mccain pay for 20 billion a month in iraq without raising taxes and repealing bushes tax cuts for the upper class,no he will not

You assume that because you support him that Blumenauer is automatically correct. That is not necessarily the case. I will do some research on that 60 so million acres, but just because a Democrat said it doesnt make it so. Either way, FOX news might be biased for Republicans (I don't watch it so I couldnt say for sure) but the rest of the liberal media treats Obama with kid gloves, never reports any of the negative issues surrounding him, shows practically his entire speeches but only gives McCain a 2 second sound byte. So I guess it works both ways.
